A report from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) said the coronave virus is spread primarily through close contact between people who have previously been infected and close contacts.
The report also found that the most common way of spreading the virus is through direct contact with contaminated food, drink or other personal items.
Infection with the virus, or the virus’s natural products, can also be transmitted.
