Why Philadelphians want to show off the flowers they have planted
— A flower show in Philadelphia last week was a chance to honor the blooming of flowers planted by the city’s Flower Show.
It all started with a Facebook post from Mayor Jim Kenney, who said, “Philadelphia is the largest city in the U.S. to have a flower show.”
Kenney said the flowers were planted by people from across the country, including people from the Philippines and the United Kingdom.
He said the show, which has been running for nearly a decade, is a way for the city to honor its flower culture.
In fact, the flower show, like the flowers themselves, are all made of the same material.
But the flower is different in that it is an edible flower.
It is a plant, a species of plant, and a flower,” said Kenney.
It’s a big deal, because we’ve never had a show like this in Philadelphia before.
I’ve been here since the 60s, I’ve got no idea where this is going, but I’m thrilled that we’re finally getting a show here.
The mayor said that people from around the world came to see the blooms, and that the mayor is pleased to see that so many people are interested in the city.
The show is scheduled to run through May 19, and Kenney said he hopes to have the show in full bloom in the spring.
